What is the minimum spend for pizza catering?

Our woodfired pizza catering has a minimum spend of $1,800 plus GST. Travel and waitstaff costs may apply depending on your venue location and guest numbers.

Our pizza catering service includes arriving on-site to set up our mobile woodfired pizza oven, lighting the fire, hand-stretching and cooking pizzas fresh for your guests throughout the event, as well as full pack down, clean up, and transport back to our base in Mullumbimby. This ensures a seamless, interactive, and flavour-packed catering experience for weddings, private events, family gatherings, and corporate functions.

How does the pizza service work?

Accepted Answer

We arrive on site with our mobile pizza catering trailer, ready to start up the woodfired oven and cook fresh pizzas throughout your event. Each pizza is hand-stretched and prepared to order from your selected menu, with slices served continuously so guests can enjoy a variety of flavours.

A cocktail-style roaming service works best, allowing guests to stay engaged while pizzas are served directly to them. Buffet or table service options are also available for a more traditional setup.
We can produce up to 60 pizzas per hour, ensuring a steady flow of food so all guests are well catered for from start to finish.

At the end of the event, we box up approximately 10 pizzas and leave them in your kitchen or cool room—perfect for late-night snacks or to enjoy the next day. That looks like it made.

Should we choose starters, a grazing table, or both?

A grazing table is ideal straight after the ceremony, giving guests something to enjoy while photos and formalities take place. A well-sized grazing table is often enough to sustain guests through this period without the need for additional starters.
Starters can still be added for a more structured or elevated service, depending on the style of your event.

How do we choose our menu flavours?

Each pizza catering package includes a set number of flavour selections. You can choose your favourites from our woodfired pizza menu. If you have a specific pizza in mind, we are also happy to customise flavours to suit your preferences and create something unique as part of your pizza catering package.

Starters, desserts, and grazing tables can be added to any pizza catering package to enhance the overall catering experience. These options can be tailored to suit your event, whether it is a wedding, private event, family gathering, or corporate function.

Can you cater for dietary requirements?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we can accommodate dietary requirements as part of our pizza catering service. We offer vegetarian options and can usually provide vegan and gluten-free choices.

Dietary requirements do not need to be confirmed at the time of booking, but once your guest numbers are finalised, we recommend sending out emails to your guests to check for any specific dietary needs. Please provide us with this information when final payments are due, typically three weeks prior to the event. Please note that our pizza catering involves flour and flour products around the oven, so we cannot guarantee completely gluten-free food for guests with coeliac disease.

When do we need to confirm guest numbers?

Accepted Answer

At the time of your initial inquiry, a rough estimate of guest numbers is sufficient. For example, if you expect around 110 guests, we will provide a quote based on that number and secure your pizza catering booking with a 20% deposit.
Final guest numbers should be confirmed three weeks prior to your event. If your numbers change, for example from 110 to 100 guests, we will adjust the final payment to reflect the deposit already paid versus the total amount owing.
Confirming final numbers ensures your pizza catering is prepared perfectly, with the right amount of hand-stretched pizzas, sides, starters, and desserts for your event.
